Lead Pastor + Women's Ministry

Jake & Breean Elliott

Jake & Breean are former interns with Upper Room who returned in 2025 for Jake to take the lead pasrtor role. The Elliotts feel their call is to make disciples and train up church leaders from the community.

Associate Pastor + Worship

Hadi & Sepideh Jafarizadeh

Hadi is one of the earliest members of URC, where he met Sepi and they married in 2022. They fulfill many duties of the church including teaching, worship, technical support, meal prep and communion.

Executive Pastor + Kid's Pastor

Mike & Carol Kurtyka

Mike & Carol have been in Europe since 2002, and helped found URC in 2015. Mike helps with discipleship and as the church treasurer, while Carol leads the children's ministry and a trauma course.

Cindy White

Cindy, along with her late husband Wesley, founded Upper Room in their West End flat in 2015. She is heavily involved in both the worship and women's ministries, while still finding time for her 11 grandchildren.

Riley & Lauren Hall

Riley and Lauren have been in Scotland since 2020, where they joined Lauren's parents to help with Upper Room. Riley leads prayer and tech ministries, while Lauren lends her voice to the worship team.
