Who we are
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
1 Peter 2:9
Upper Room Church is a cross-cultural, bilingual church, primarily of people native to Iran. We provide Christ-centered community and Biblical discipleship for muslim-background believers in Christ.
All services and functions of the church are offered in both Farsi and English. Though our demographic is largely Iranian, those “from every nation, tribe, people and tongue” (Revelation 7:9) are most welcome to come and worship the living God with us.
All nations and backgrounds are welcome at Upper Room. However our community is primarily made up of refugees and asylum seekers from Muslim-background countries.
To accommodate this, our services are dual language, in both English and Farsi, and many of our resources are available in Kurdish as well.
Visit us
The best way to connect with us is to visit one of our weekly services, which take place in various locations around the city.
